Picture a bed and breakfast with stately columns, a circular driveway, and the blue water of Seneca Lake, largest of the Finger Lakes, just across the road. Combine our personalized hospitality and two spacious suites with the quiet, natural surroundings of vineyards and waterfalls. The result is a special Finger Lakes bed and breakfast called Pilgrim’s Way. Built in 1847 and fully restored, we offer the luxury of modern comforts and a gracious style of service to our guests.
Begin your day with a cup of coffee or tea on the veranda, while you watch the sun and sailboats on Seneca Lake. After our full country breakfast, you may wish to relax on the veranda or take a leisurely walk down our quiet lane and enjoy the views of Seneca. Glenora Falls is especially beautiful and just at the bottom of the hill.
Many of our guests enjoy the wineries of the Finger Lakes Wine Country. Others visit the Watkins Glen International Speedway or hike the Gorge at the Watkins Glen State Park. We offer additional suggestions for activities on our Area Attractions page. There are numerous places to stop for a quick or a leisurely lunch. Our restaurant guide lists a selection of places for lunch as well as for dinner.
At the end of your day, return to Pilgrim’s Way to enjoy our complimentary Butler’s Bar where soft-beverages and snacks are served throughout the day and evening. Our fresh-baked cookies, popcorn, and seasonal fruits are tempting. We have cherries and berries in the summer and apples and cider in the fall. You may wish to take your snacks out to the veranda. It’s a quiet place to gather and watch the golden light shining on the lake. The atmosphere is hushed, still, and regenerating.
After you have relaxed a bit, you may wish to go out to one of our area restaurants. There are several to choose from, and we will be happy to make reservations for you if needed. Your rooms at Pilgrim’s Way will be waiting for your return, inviting you to rest and be restored.

This past year has been really special. We have enjoyed guests from all over the U. S., Canada, Israel, India, and England. It's been our pleasure to help them plan their days, recommend restaurants and attractions and to hear what a terrific time they've had here in the Finger Lakes.
Many of our guests have spent their honeymoon or anniversary with us. We've had mother/daughter groups doing the wine trail, couples traveling together on motor cycles and of course the race fans. Our personal favorite is the Vintage Car Race and Rally.
Pilgrim's Way offers a quiet and restful" time away" to our guests. The quotes from our Guest Book always mention the beauty of this place, the comfort, our suggestions for dining and activities and, oh yes, the yummy breakfasts.
